Our office is filled with long-time residents of Nanaimo and we are proud to call the Mid-Island our homes. Iain started in the financial business over 30 years ago with Royal Bank in Hamilton, Ontario. After transferring to Nanaimo in 1994, Iain quickly moved up the ranks within the bank increasing his experience immensely. Some of Iain's past roles included Account Manager, Branch Manager, Trust & Estate Planner and Offshore banking.
He has successfully completed many courses throughout his career including, CSC, CHP, BMC and PFP (Personal Financial Planner). In 2002 Iain decided to branch out on his own into the Wealth Management Financial Planning sector.
Iain believes in long-term relationships and strives to help his clients to achieve their financial goals. His discipline and customized approach to Wealth Management puts his clients and their goals first.
Mike joined the financial industry in 1996, giving him over 20 years of investment experience. He is a long-time resident of Nanaimo having moved here after university in 1992. Mike brings retail advisory, institutional sales, management and investment experience to his role.
As an Investment Advisor he has worked with one of Canada's largest financial planning firms in addition to two of Canada's largest Mutual Fund companies. It is in this position as a Regional Sales Representative that he had the opportunity to work with some of Canada's best Investment Advisors as well as some of North America's most respected money managers.

Associate Investment Advisor
Amy was born and raised in Nanaimo but spent several years living in the South Okanagan, returning back to the island nearing the end of 2018. She has several years experience working for Credit Unions and most recently worked as a Financial Services Advisor at Island Savings where she developed a client focused approach to her business style.
Amy has completed her Canadian Securities Course and is a fully Licensed Associate Investment Advisor and has been designated as a responsible Investing Specialist (RIS). . Her role gives her holistic knowledge of the office administrative duties as well as the ability to run her own book of clients. Her goal is to build life-long relationships with her clients and their families while providing personalized advice that suits their life style. Always having what is best for clients in mind, You can be confident in knowing Amy will go above and beyond for both her clients and community.
Angela joined the office in 2016 and brings over 9 years of financial services industry experience to her role as an Administrative Assistant.
Angela enjoys event planning, marketing and manages the client services functions at the branch. She coordinates meetings and scheduling calendar events, focusing on ensuring that the administrative requirements and communication with clients runs smoothly and efficiently.
Wahid has over 35 years of experience in the financial industry. He grew up in Toronto, Ontario and attended the University of Victoria. Wahid was in CIBC’s National Management Training Program. After a rewarding banking career, Wahid joined the wealth management industry and became an Investment Advisor in 2000 and has worked with his clients to help them achieve their financial goals ever since. He is a proponent of preservation of capital with modest growth, a stable tax-efficient income stream, and providing each valued client with their own personalized asset allocation model based on risk tolerance, expectations and knowledge.
Wahid’s disciplined and holistic approach to constructing, implementing and reviewing clients' portfolios allows for long-lasting and successful relationships. Wahid’s goals include assisting his clients from an independent and unbiased platform where they are best served. Wahid believes that each household should have a Retirement Plan, an Asset Allocation Model and a Succession Plan to transfer their wealth to their heirs and beneficiaries in a Tax Efficient manner.
